The TalaSleep 8000 Series mattresses use a unique layered construction with five separate layers. The bottom three layers are 1.9 inches each of firm 36 ILD latex, on top which is a 1.9 inch layer of 28 ILD Talalay latex, and then a 0.9 inch layer of 19 ILD Talalay latex. This layering system allows the sleeper to experience the plushness of a softer top layer along with the support of firmer middle and bottom layers.
